Our new barefoot path at the Hoferbauer offers a pleasant experience for everyone. Take off your shoes and socks and touch different materials such as wood, stone and moss with your bare feet. Get to know yourself and nature better and enjoy some time for yourself.
The playroom doesn’t just have toys – you’ll also find board games for kids and adults alike. There’s also a small library with books on various topics and for all age groups. You can find the book list right there in our little library.
After a long day on the ski slopes, in the swimming pool or after a hike to the famous earth pyramids, do you feel like doing some stretching? Hang from the bars, lift weights and go for a bike ride. Upon request, we offer guided ski touring hikes in winter and Nordic walking tours in summer. For hockey fans, Roly has a lot of experience and passion for this sport, which he will be happy to share with you. That is why he appreciates our well-equipped fitness room even more and is happy to put it at your disposal. We provide the following sports equipment (limited availability) during your stay with us: Hiking poles, rollerblades, badminton rackets, footballs, mountain bikes, sledges, and ice skates.
Our heated pool is the perfect place to cool off after a long hike or on a hot summer day. It’s open from May until the end of September – just right for some well-earned outdoor relaxation!

In the morning from 6:15 a.m. and in the evening from 5:30 p.m., you're welcome to help out in the barn or just watch the daily chores with the animals.
In our herb garden, lovingly tended by Rosalinde, grow rosemary, thyme, sage, mint, oregano, parsley, chives, basil and marjoram. If you cook for yourselves, feel free to help yourselves to the herbs from our garden.
Our farmhouse bread is baked with yeast following a traditional recipe. Crispy crust and soft crumb – no artificial additives. Tradition you can taste! Please hand in your order slip by about 9 p.m. You will receive your order the next day from 6:30 a.m.

Three generations live on our farm:
Grandma Rosalinde, Grandpa Jakob
Roland with Claudia, and
Tino, Nadin, Lilly and Marie
While Roland and Claudia take care of the guests' well-being, Grandpa Jakob lovingly and devotedly provides healthy produce from happy animals. Grandma Rosalinde's pride and joy is her fruit and herb garden. The delicious jam you receive from us was lovingly prepared by her, as is the farmhouse bread you can order for breakfast along with fresh eggs, milk and yoghurt.
Immerse yourself in our holiday paradise and treat yourself to some time out while your children explore the farm on the back of our ponies. Nadin and Lilly are already looking forward to seeing you.

There are two charging stations on our property where you can charge your electric car.
Hot water from the sun
Our solar panels autonomously heat the water in our pool. The photovoltaic system on the stable roof produces 40% of the electricity we use at Hoferbauer.
Sustainable heating
We obtain the wood for our woodchip heating system from our own forest.
The South Tyrolean Forest Authority protects the forest with strict laws which dictate how many trees can be cut, so that trees can regrow naturally and the CO2 released during combustion is absorbed again by the growing forests.
